In honor of Pumpkin Spice Day on October 1st, we rounded up some tasty recipes using our Pure Churro Whey Protein, to give these recipes an extra cinnamon-y twist while adding protein.

PROTEIN PUMPKIN BALLS
Ingredients:
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 scoop SFH Pure Vanilla Whey Protein
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup pumpkin pureé
2 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp pumpin pie spice
flax seeds (topping)
How to:
In a bowl, mix together all ingredients (except flax seeds) until well combined. Spoon into hand and roll into balls. Place in refrigerator until firm, about an hour. Place flax seeds in small bowl, press protein balls in seeds until they stick. They roll again in your hand until seeds are secure. Enjoy!
PUMPKIN PIE OVERNIGHT OATS
Ingredients:
1 scoop SFH Pure Churro Whey Protein
1/2 cup pumpkin pureé
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup almond milk
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
How to:
Combine all ingredients in a container with lid. Leave in the refrigerator overnight. Enjoy the next morning with optional toppings like chia seeds or chopped nuts.
PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE BITES
Ingredients:
4 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup pumpkin pureé
1 scoop SFH Pure Churro Whey Protein
pumpkin spice (for topping)
How to:
Mix together all ingredients (except pumpkin spice) until well combined. Place into molds, ice cube trays work great! Sprinkle with pumpkin spice and place in freezer until firm (about 2 hours). Let thaw a couple minutes before enjoying.
