We are a father-daughter duo who are in the passionate pursuit of perfecting the nutrition industry. We challenge the status quo every day by combining scientific research with the cleanest, nutritionally dense ingredients available and delivering it into to a product you can feel good about.
The story begins with “science guru” dad. Dr. Jeff Leighton has always had a borderline obsession with what makes the human body “tick”, so much so that he dedicated most of his career to finding cures for chronic disease. Since most human disease is a manifestation of overall health, he realized that the best medicine is prevention. This thinking created the shift to natural “medicine”, or nutraceuticals for preventative care. He founded Maine Natural Health (MNH) in 2006 to support his new field of research.
Patricia Leighton joined forces with Dr. Jeff Leighton in 2009 to launch SFH focusing on applying their cutting edge supplements to the world of sports. At that time, Patricia was among the few female entrepreneurs entering this competitive field, doing so with a rich background in business management and action sports.
Their collaboration was driven by a shared vision to integrate Jeff's groundbreaking innovations into practical solutions for nutrition and sports performance. The goal was to develop a comprehensive line of products that not only met high standards of cleanliness and nutritional density, but also could seamlessly fit into daily routines and promote long-term health benefits.
