Cool Down Your Fourth Of July With These Summer Approved Protein Recipes

Headed to a backyard party with nothing in hand? Whip up these protein-packed recipes that will keep stomachs full, mouths happy and taste buds craving more!

RED WHITE AND BLUE PROTEIN FLAG POPSICLES

Memories of summer aren't complete without the sounds of the ice cream truck slowly rolling through the neighborhood. But the sugar headache that follow is no joke. If you are screaming for ice cream, reach for these frozen treats to help keep your goals on track.

Ingredients:
Red Layer
2 Cups of Strawberries, Pureed
White Layer
3/4 Cup Non-Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
3 Scoops SFH Fuel Coconut
Blue Layer
2 Cups of Blueberries, Pureed

MACROS (per popsicle): 6g net carbs, 2g fiber, 1g fat, 6g protein

Directions:
Puree strawberries and scoop into popsicle molds. Blend together the greek yogurt, almond milk and protein, layer on top of strawberry puree in molds. Puree blueberries and add as the final layer into the molds and freeze until solid. Remove popsicle molds (you may need to run them under hot water) and enjoy! Best served on a patio with friends.

COCONUT PROTEIN ICE CREAM

We see you reaching into the freezer for that pint of ice cream! Step away and whip up this nice-cream. It's only 2 ingredients!

Ingredients:
2 Cans Coconut Milk
3 Scoops SFH Fuel Coconut
Toppings: We used blueberries, strawberries and chocolate chunks

MACROS (3/4c per serving): 2g net carbs, 1g fiber, 11g fat, 5g protein

Directions:
Blend together both cans of coconut milk and protein powder. Place in freezer safe container and stir occasionally until it reaches your desired consistency.
Top with whatever you'd like! We used strawberries, blueberries and chocolate.
